In 2005 the Executive Committee of the IGU decided to close the serie of the Home of Geography paper Newsletters, and to open a new serie of e_Newsletters; the e_Newsletters will appear quarterly.
Following the Corresponding Members Action Plan, the e_Newsletter will be distributed by e-mail even to all the Corresponding Members.
The e-Newsletters will even appear in the website, and will be downloadable in .doc and in .pdf format.
Only the first 8 issues appeared also in the French, but it couldn't be realized ever after; a Spanish version could be seen in: http://www.ugi.unam.mx/newsletters.html
