Communication from IGU Secretary General, Prof. Woo-ik Yu
Dear Colleague,
The IGU Executive Committee has scheduled a meeting in Tunis with the chairpersons of IGU Commissions and Task Forces for the afternoon of Monday, 11 August 2008. The location will be announced as soon as I receive word from the Tunis local organizing committee. The meeting will start at 14:00 and conclude at 17:00. Please join the executive committee for all or as much of the meeting as your schedule permits. I hope you or another member of your group can be present for the meeting. Please let me know if you plan to attend.
If you have items for the agenda for the meeting, please forward them to me no later than 15 July 2008. If schedules permit and there appears to be sufficient interest, we will try to schedule a second session later in the congress, most likely on Wednesday or Thursday.
Best wishes,
Woo-ik Yu
Secretary General
